Recommended Water Temperature
For most pour-over brewing methods, a water temperature between 90-96°C is often recommended.
If the water is too cool, it may result in under-extraction and a weak, sour taste.
If the water is too hot, it can lead to over-extraction and a bitter or burnt taste.
Preheating your brewing equipment and using a gooseneck kettle with good temperature control can help maintain the desired water temperature throughout the brewing process.
